Faith-Rose Ansah describes herself as a polymath. A non-practicing barrister, milliner and Sunday school teacher. She drew on these diverse skills in founding her youth empowerment organisation - Faith's Rose.
The organisation looks at a person holistically and builds leadership and employability skills through partnerships and social action. The organisation looks at idenitiy, love and freedom as points of discussion in formulating one's personal story.
Faith-Rose uses poetry, African folktales and other expressive art-forms to tell her story. She is of dual heritage: (Malawian and Ghanaian), meaning identity and bringing people together through shared morals and values is paramount. This forms the basis of her own story. Faith-Rose seeks to draw light to what makes one unique as a person (munthu) and what unites us as humanity (ubuntu)
